St. Anthony's

Vice Principal's Message

St. Anthony’s Sr. Sec. School, Barabanki has been deepening its root in the field of education for the past 38 years and is now recognized as one of the esteemed institutions of the city. I feel proud and privileged to be the part of this magnificent institution. At this juncture, I gratefully acknowledge the untiring effort and selfless service rendered by the Principal, dedicated teachers and ever supporting parents in bringing better efficiency and recognition to this institution. May God bless them with manifold blessings.

Infact we are living in a ‘fast forward' age. Everything is changing at a speed. We are now exposed to the omnipresence of mass media. The growing volume of information and knowledge through various technologies so called “Digital World” that has established the fact that access to knowledge is free and quick. In spite of the rapid progress in information technology and society at large, it is being realized that there is a gaping void with regard to holistic and integral development of an individual personality. Human life in general has become more frustrating and complex today. People have become more self-cantered, egoistic, intolerant, corrupt, suspicious, hedonistic etc. As an educationist, I personally believe that no one would ever argue for a valueless system of education. If we believe and accept that education is a formative process, then the schools and the teachers in particular have a greater role to play in the fast changing world of today to instill human values in the children and to prepare them to face life as it comes.

St. Anthony's

I am pleased to acknowledge that St. Anthony’s School lays its stress not just on academic excellence but on "character formation with academic excellence". It motivates children to "always aim high" and cultivate core values as a first place for the Divine, integrity of character and maturity in behaviour, pursuit of excellence and creative genius, respect of the human person with an emphasis for elders and teachers, loyalty to the nation and a balanced understanding of the prevailing global situation.

I wish and pray that the Anthonians imbibe with the qualities of human values and become socially conscious, intellectually competent, culturally relevant, morally upright, religiously vibrant and emotionally balanced. Dear parents/guardians with your support together we can achieve the dream that you have for your wards. I can foresee that every child who has entered the Temple of St. Anthony’s School with its motto "Love, Truth and Knowledge" will certainly reach the heights of glory.

Best wishes for an enriching and fruitful new academic year!
